The head of Deutsche Bank’s investment banking arm could quit over plans to shrink the business

The head of Deutsche Bank’s investment banking arm could quit over plans to shrink the business.

Garth Ritchie is reportedly concerned about changes at the German lender proposed by new group chief executive Christian Sewing, which include radical cuts to his division.

Ritchie is also under pressure after his re-election to Deutsche’s board was opposed by nearly two-fifths of shareholders in a recent vote.
